Join a store & set up your availability

In this tutorial, I'm going to walk you through how to join an existing store and set up your work availability. Let's dive in!

Registration

Start by heading over to Clockto.com and clicking “Join for free” or “Sign up”. This will take you straight to the “Onboarding page”. To join a store that's already up and running, choose the “Employee” option and click “Get started”.

Next, enter the email address your manager used to send you the ClockTo invitation.

If your email includes an invitation code, you'll then be asked to enter that code.

Note that you may skip all the above steps by simply clicking on the link in your invitation email. Now, create a password for your account, enter it twice for confirmation.

You're registered. Just type in your full name to continue.

At this point, you can upload a photo or pick an avatar, or you can skip this and add it later in the app.

After these steps, you'll see a summary of your information, along with the roles and hourly rates assigned to you in the store you're joining. Give everything a quick review, then wrap up the onboarding process.

To kick things off, head over to your profile to make any updates as necessary from the header.

In the first section, you can adjust your profile picture, name, and date of birth.

If you're looking to update your password or add your phone number, this is the place to do it. Adding your phone number is particularly important, as it enables you to chat with the AI assistant via phone call, but only if your number is registered in this section.

Next up, we have the app settings – my personal highlight! This is where you can tailor the app to your liking. You can switch up the main color, flip between light and dark themes, and even change the app's language. The Clockto team really has thought of everything to make things convenient for you.

Availability

Remember, setting up your available times is crucial because your shifts will be assigned based on your availability. Wondering how to do that? Let’s dive in. Head over to the availability page by clicking on the menu icon located in the top right corner of the header. Here, you'll find tabs for time off and available time.

You'll initially have a default available time, set according to the business's typical workdays. However, if you have the “set available time” permission, you can tweak your availability to suit you. If you don't have this permission, only your manager can make these adjustments.

Since I have the permission, let me show you how to change your schedule. For instance, I prefer not to work on Wednesdays, so I'll unselect it. You can choose how many hours you are available; I'm opting for a full day.

Once you've made your selections, remember to update your availability. And just like that, you can effortlessly manage your available times in Clockto, ensuring that your shifts align perfectly with your personal schedule.
